Terms & Conditions for Arctic Glow AS


1. General Terms

Arctic Glow AS offers guided tours, including Northern Lights tours, with services such as transportation, warm clothing, and professional photography. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through our official website or an authorized partner.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Prices are listed in NOK and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3. Age Limit and Child Seats

  • Arctic Glow AS has an age limit of 12 years for all tours.
  • We do not provide child car seats, and it is not possible to bring children under 135 cm on our tours, as required by Norwegian law.

4. Clothing and Equipment

  • Guests are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for Arctic conditions.
  • Arctic Glow AS reserves the right to deny participation if a guest’s clothing is deemed insufficient for safety reasons. No refund will be provided in such cases.
  • Arctic Glow will provide thermal suits (adult sizes S–L) and other necessary equipment for the tour.

5. Photography

  • Professional photographs taken during the tour will be shared with guests for personal use. Arctic Glow retains the copyright and reserves the right to use photos for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested.
  • Photos will be delivered within 1–2 days.

6. Health and Safety

  • Guests must inform Arctic Glow of any medical conditions or food allergies prior to the tour.
  • Participation may be denied if a guest’s health condition is deemed a risk to their safety or the group’s safety. No refund will be provided in such cases.
  • Guests showing signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied participation without refund.
  • Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited during the tour.

7. Toilet Facilities

Please note that access to toilets may be limited during tours. Stops at public facilities will be made when possible, but many tour locations are remote with no available facilities.


8. Liability and Force Majeure

  • Arctic Glow AS is not liable for delays, cancellations, or missed connections caused by factors outside of our control, including extreme weather, road closures, or other force majeure events.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours for safety reasons due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather. In such cases, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule (subject to availability).

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations
  • Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the tour date will receive a 100% refund.
  • No Refund: No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour.
No-Show Policy
  • Failure to show up for the tour without prior cancellation will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.
Operator Cancellations
  • In case of cancellations due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date (if possible).

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • Any complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the tour date.
  • Disputes will be handled under Norwegian law and resolved in the jurisdiction of Tromsø, Norway.

11. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, such as missed flights, cancellations, or medical emergencies.

By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
