Northern Lights Minibus Tour – Find the Magic

Join us for an evening of Northern Lights hunting in the Troms region. Our small-group tour allows us to be flexible with our route and provide personal attention throughout the experience.

What to Expect:

  • Flexible route: We start from the city-center in Tromsø, and choose our destination based on current weather conditions. This might take us along the coast, inland, or through the fjords towards the Finnish border – wherever the viewing conditions are best.
  • Small Groups: With a maximum of 15 guests, everyone gets the guidance they need. We can help you with camera settings and share tips for both mobile phones and cameras to capture the Aurora when it appears.
  • Comfort and Refreshments: We provide warm thermal suite if needed. We will also serve hot drinks and local snacks during the tour. When conditions are present, we’ll set up a cozy campfire while waiting for the Northern Lights.
  • Professional Photos Included: Our guide takes high-resolution photos throughout the tour, which we share with you afterwards at no extra cost.
  • Good to know: Camera vs Human eye: Your camera might capture the Northern Lights more vividly than what you see with your naked eye. This is normal – the human eye has limited color perception in darkness, while cameras can reveal the full range of Aurora colors.»

Important Notes:

  • The Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon. While we use our local knowledge and weather forecasts to find the best viewing conditions, nature determines if and when the lights appear. Some nights the cloud cover might be too extensive to find clear skies. We always do our best to find good viewing conditions, but cannot guarantee Northern Lights sightings. However, the hunt itself is an adventure, and experiencing the Arctic nature at night – with its darkness, silence, and starry skies (when clear) – is a unique experience in itself.
  • We recommend wearing warm, layered clothing. Although we provide warm suits if needed, warm base layers are important for comfort during the Arctic night.
  • Please bring your passport as we might cross into Finland for better viewing conditions
  • Full refund available in case of cancellation due to unsafe driving conditions or other force majore.

Meeting Point: Tromsø city center, Kirkegata 2, pick up near Tourist Shop. Look for Your guide with Arctic Glow marked vest.
