About Arctic Glow

Arctic Glow was founded by Kine and Geir Inge Mikkelsen to share the Northern Lights, the landscapes and the way of life that have shaped us here in Northern Norway.

We both grew up on the island of Vannøya, north of Tromsø, where life is closely connected to the sea, the weather and the changing Arctic seasons.

At a young age we moved to Tromsø and have lived here ever since. Over the years, the idea of creating something together gradually took shape. Arctic Glow became our way of spending more time outdoors, meeting people from around the world and sharing Northern Norway with our guests. 

The values we grew up with remain an important part of the company today. We always do our very best, whether that means searching for clear skies, capturing photographs for our guests or making sure people have a good evening together. We want them to experience the Arctic landscapes that surround us, witness the Northern Lights and experience the atmosphere that develops when the Arctic sky comes alive.

We are fortunate to welcome guests from all over the world and to share this part of Norway with them. Every evening is different, every group is different, and that is one of the things we enjoy most about what we do.
